Great Basin Ventures is a family-office-based qualified Opportunity Zone Fund formed in 2020 to invest in tax-efficient commercial real estate and alternative energy projects in the intermountain west.
Our Investments
Great Basin Ventures has acquired multiple real estate investment properties, such as industrial warehouses and industrial logistic facilities, throughout Utah. Our properties comprise over one million square feet of space in Salt Lake City, Hurricane, and Richfield Utah. Great Basin Ventures is actively pursuing future investment opportunities.
SLC-GLC Building 3
SLC-GLC Building 3 is a nearly 600,000-square foot logistics facility adjacent to the proposed Utah Inland Port. It is one of the first buildings to be completed within this strategically important master development, and offers close proximity to multiple transit hubs.
Bell Canyon, LLC. Warehouse
The Bell Canyon, LLC. Warehouse is a second-generation light industrial warehouse with 65,000 square feet of usuable space. The warehouse is in a prime logistical location with access to multiple transit hubs, including the Union Pacific Salt Lake City Intermodal Facility.
NWQ Great Basin Solar
Great Basin Ventures, in partnership with NWQ Great Basin Solar, LLC, will build a 3.53 MWdc rooftop solar array located on top of SLC-GLC Building 3. Upon completion in late 2021, it will be the largest rooftop solar array in Utah and provide clean energy to businesses and residences throughout the state.
Black Rock Solar Energy
Black Rock Solar Energy is a 100 MWdc solar power generation project being installed in the Black Rock Desert in Utah. The plant is approximately seven miles from the Rocky Mountain Black Rock Substation, which services the energy grid for the western United States.

As we look to expand the portfolio we are looking to partner with like-minded investors on future tax-advantaged real estate and renewable energy opportunities.
